Swindon Town sell stadium naming rights to The Energy Checking Company

Swindon Town's stadium will now be known as The Energy Check County Ground following a selling of the naming rights by the club.

The Energy Check are an International Energy Consultancy.
 
As part of the agreement between the two parties, The Energy Check will see their branding across the stadium and they will be working with the Football Club to deliver energy reductions through energy efficiency measures.
 
Steve Anderson, Swindon Town's Chief Executive, said: "I would like to welcome The Energy Check as a major sponsor of the Football Club and we look forward to a long and successful partnership together.
 
"This deal represents a significant move forward commercially for the Football Club and sustainability.
 
"The rebranding of stadiums within top flight football has been happening for over a decade and we felt that the time had come to explore such opportunities for Swindon Town."
 
Swindon Town's Chief Operations Officer, Mark Isaacs, added: "With having The Energy Check on board the Football Club have already benefitted by securing a new contract for the supply of energy to The Energy Check County Ground which will result in reducing our energy costs over the next five years.
 
"We will also be working together to further improve our operational efficiencies by identifying energy saving opportunities across The Energy Check County Ground and I look forward to working alongside the team at The Energy Check over the coming months."
 
Robyn Smith, Corporate Partnership Manager at The Energy Check, said: "We're very excited to be a part of this great club that has a proud history.
 
"We are looking forward to the future and all the opportunities it will bring to us in raising our brand awareness, along with the services we provide for both commercial and domestic customers.

Energy Check have an identical partnership with League One club Bury, as Gigg Lane is also now known as the Energy Check Stadium. The same applies to Partick Thistle's Firhill.
