Swindon fell down the trap door of relegation on Saturday and big changes are expected, and wanted, by fans of the club as they are now focused on a promotion charge for next season.
Overhaul is easy to do for Town in the summer, as they only have 12 contracted senior players for next season.
Loanees Fankaty Dabo, Charlie Colkett and Islam Feruz (all Chelsea), Lloyd Jones (Liverpool), Rohan Ince (Brighton), Ben Gladwin (QPR) and Nicky Ajose (Charlton) will all return to their parent clubs while a further 11 players are free to go if they do not sign a new contract.
All of those loanees are contracted to their parent clubs next season, apart from Dabo, who could sign for Swindon on a free if Chelsea decide against keeping him.
The one position Swindon have nailed down next season is that of goalkeeper, as Lawrence Vigouroux's contract does not expire until 2019, while understudy Will Henry's current deal runs out next summer.
Swindon's highest-profile potential departure is that of defender, and captain, Nathan Thompson, who may say farewell to his boyhood club this summer.
Dion Conroy, who signed from Chelsea in January, penned a two-and-a-half-year deal at the County Ground, so he is tied down until 2019, and James Brophy signed a two-year extension to his contract last summer so the wing-back will be in Wiltshire until 2018.
Fellow defenders Raphael Branco, Brad Barry, Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill and Jamie Sendles-White are all out of contract.
Barry, however, has an option in his contract which means that if Swindon want to extend his deal, he has no choice but to accept the extension. Swindon have had such a deal with the likes of Yaser Kasim and Jon Obika in the past.
Onto midfield, Conor Thomas signed a three-year deal in the summer so, like Vigouroux, he is employed until 2019, as is Johnny Goddard.
Jesse Starkey signed a one-and-a-half-year deal when he signed on the January deadline day, so his deal expires in 2018.
Anton Rodgers and Kasim are both out of contract, and so are Tom Smith and Jake Evans who are both on loan at Waterford. Ellis Iandolo, too, may leave but he has an option in his contract like Barry does.
Strikers Obika, Jordan Stewart and Jermaine Hylton all need to be offered terms if they are to remain at Swindon, while the deals of Luke Norris and Jordan Young run until 2019.
In addition, three youth academy members have been offered professional contracts but Tommy Ouldridge, Jordan Simpson (both midfielders) and Scott Twine (striker) have not yet put pen to paper.
Contracted Swindon players for next season:
Goalkeepers: Lawrence Vigouroux (2019), Will Henry (2018)
Defenders: Dion Conroy (2019), James Brophy (2018)
Midfielders: Conor Thomas (2019), Johnny Goddard (2019), Jesse Starkey (2018)
Strikers: Luke Norris (2019), Jordan Young (2019)
