Harding, who has spent the last three seasons honing his craft in SN5, will now move up North to test his abilities in the UK's professional ice hockey league.
The 23-year old, who joined the club in a two-way deal from the Cardiff Devils during the 2013-14 campaign, picked up the club's 'Most Improved Player Award' the following year and will be looking to emulate the successful loan spell he had with the Storm back in January, when he played two games and scored one goal under player-coach Omar Pacha.
Head coach Aaron Nell has expressed his best wishes to the departing forward, and has left the door open for the Welshman to return to Wiltshire should he wish.
Nell told the club's official website: "I'd like to thank Hards for his time in Swindon. It's great he's getting an opportunity in the Elite League," he said.
