"There's no-one in this league we should be scared of" - Nathan Thompson
As his side prepare to go to the Den, home of the intimidating Millwall, Town captain Nathan Thompson feels there is no team in League One that should scare Swindon.
Millwall in particular are famous for their raucous atmosphere in Bermondsey, something Swindon know all too well as the Robins have not won at the Lions' ground since 2007.
The fixture last season ended in a 2-0 defeat and resulted in the sacking of then-manager Mark Cooper.
Ahead of the eagerly-anticipated Boxing Day clash Thompson said the club should not fear Millwall, or any other club in League One.
"You know the sort of atmosphere you're going to get at Millwall and we're looking forward to it," Thompson said.
"It's the first time I've played there so I'm certainly looking forward to it and this result and this performance (the 1-1 draw against Fleetwood) will give us confidence to go there and there's no reason why we can't start a little run.
"I said to them before the (pre-match) huddle that the last five months has been a complete waste in the sense that results that we've picked up we've been littered with bad performances and we find ourselves near the bottom of the table.
"We've still got over half of the season left and we really want to achieve something and it starts now.
"Once the squad is back to full strength I see no-one in this league we should be scared of, we're more than capable of taking points, as we've seen, off teams near the top and, as I've said, we've got over half a season left to put a run together and firmly establish ourselves at the top of the table."
