Town captain Nathan Thompson enjoying preseason stint in Ireland

Heading over to the emerald isle for 2016/17 pre-season preparation, Swindon Town captain Nathan Thompson is enjoying the time spent out on the training field, as the squad work towards sharpening their fitness and getting back to match pace.

Speaking to STFC player, Thompson outlined the set-up in over in Ireland, and how the squad are getting to grips with being back in action.

Swindon Town emerged 1-0 victors in their first Ireland friendly, after a Jon Obika strike was enough to secure a victory over Shelbourne.
