Let's Talk
Swindon's derby match with Bristol Rovers was abandoned after an hour due to bad weather on Saturday, but Town boss Luke Williams found the funny side.
The Robins had the better of the match at the County Ground before the refereee called time early and, although Town boss Williams was frustrated, he had time for a tongue-in-cheek comment.
"(I have never come across a match abandonment) during the game and certainly not in the summer season," Williams said.
"It is very strange. I think maybe we are ruining the planet and need to stop driving our cars or something," he joked.
"I don't know what it is, but there will be tarantulas on the pitch or something.
"It is unfortunate but it is a freak, I suppose, and we have now to prepare for the re-arranged fixture."
It is not yet known when the game will be replayed, however everyone with a ticket for Saturday's game WILL be allowed to attend the rematch, the club have confirmed.
