The Wildcats get pre-season underway on August 31 at home to the Basingstoke Bisons before taking on the Bracknell Bees twice home and away and then finishing off with a trip to Basingstoke.
Guildford Flames at home on September 10 is the first official match of the 2016-17 season, however Nell is of the opinion the Wildcats are good-to-go already.
"We have just got all the players in this week so it is going to be a very important two weeks coming up in pre-season.
"We are very busy working to make sure we are ready for the new season. We could play tomorrow and we would be ready and we have got a very similar team to last season so that helps but we are going to do a lot of work and practice coming up in the next few weeks.
"Everytime we are on the ice we need to get that little bit better and we want to use the games coming up to get in shape and get match fit but also work on things."
