Uffington White Horse Hill
Uffington White Horse Hill is the internationally renowned site for the Bronze Age chalk figure of its name
Explore the ancient landscape on Uffington Hill and take in the stunning views from the world-famous white chalk horse.
This prehistoric white chalk horse is over 3000 years old and the oldest of several white horses seen around this part of the English countryside. The site also includes the Manger, Dragon Hill, Giant's Steps, and Uffington Castle, an Iron Age hillfort that has views for miles across six counties.
There is parking available but please be advised this site is on uneven terrain of grass and chalk so not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Assistance dogs and dogs under close control are welcome, but be mindful that there is livestock in the surrounding fields.
