New English and maths tutoring service opens in Rodbourne with exam season offer

A new tutoring service offering English and maths tuition from KS1 to A-Level has opened its doors within the Shaftesbury Centre in Percy Street, Rodbourne.

Good Egg Tutoring is the brainchild of founder, head tutor and Swindon resident James Nicholls, having completed an Open University degree in English Language and Literature with First Class Honours.

Upon opening the new purpose-built office, James explained ‘My decision to study as an adult came as a result of disillusionment regarding my past experiences in education; though I was a capable young student, I found school to be a challenging environment. To complete my degree, which took six years; I studied at home throughout, in comfortable surroundings, without the difficulties, distractions and inherently competitive nature of a classroom. This type of environment is exactly what I want Good Egg Tutoring to provide for the students of Swindon’.

Having completed his degree James worked as an Additional Needs and Community Tutor for a leading Swindon-based company before leaving to start Good Egg Tutoring, allowing him to offer a more personalised and attentive service, particularly to those students who may have additional educational needs.

Alongside his usual tuition service James is opening the doors with a special exam preparation package, offering 2 months of exam focused tuition to students of all ages for a fixed cost of just £200.00.
